Paper on risk model encapsulation

The paper "Divide and Conquer – Towards a Notion of Risk Model Encapsulation" by Atle Refsdal, Øyvind Rideng, Bjørnar Solhaug, and Ketil Stølen has been accepted for publication in "Engineering Secure Future Internet Services", LNCS 8431, published by Springer.

Risk model encapsulation is achieved by defining a risk model interface that contains all and only the information that is needed for composing individual risk models to derive an overall risk picture. This  prepares the foundation for component-based risk analysis whereby target components can be annotated with their corresponding risk interface elements, thus allowing an overall risk model to be derived from the composed target model.
